Turkey Wraps

Ingredients

  • 1 pack of turkey mince or pack of mushrooms can be used instead of meat)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 50g frozen veg (carrots, green beans etc.)
  • 2cm piece of fresh ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce*
  • 1 onion
  • 1 gem lettuce
  • Serve with sweet chilli sauce

*Allergen soy sauce

Method

In a large pan/wok, heat the oil and add the sliced onions, finely chopped ginger & garlic, mince meat or chopped mushrooms. Cook on medium to high heat for 10 mins stirring regularly.

Add the frozen veg and cook for 2 mins, stirring occasionally.

Stir in the soy sauce.

Separate the lettuce leaves, wash under cold water and pat dry using kitchen paper.

Fill each lettuce leaf with a spoon of mixture and serve with sweet chilli sauce before eating.

Please note this recipe can be eaten hot or cold.
