Oat and Raisin Cookies

Ingredients

  • 50g butter
  • 50g caster sugar
  • 50g wholemeal flour
  • 80g oats
  • 50g raisins
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 egg

Method

Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking sheet with greaseproof paper.

Mix the butter and sugar together till soft Then add the honey, egg & cinnamon Beat together.

In a separate bowl add flour, baking powder, oats and raisins
Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and stir together.

Place spoonful of the mixture onto the baking sheet – leaving a gap between each one.
Bake until golden brown.

Leave it to cool and harden slightly before eating.
