Investing ÂŁ20,000 over five years to provide direct support to families facing unexpected financial hardship.
02 — Supporting 30–40 Families
Helping approximately 6–8 families each year with timely, meaningful financial assistance.
03 — Meeting Essential Needs
Providing emergency food, clothing, school uniforms, kitchen essentials and other everyday necessities.
04 — Supporting Family Stability
Funding essential home equipment, school trips and additional support during school holiday periods.
05 — Creating Lasting Impact
Delivering approved support within 2–3 weeks, helping families regain stability and move forward with dignity.

The Rainy Day Fund provides £50–£500 of support when unexpected costs become difficult to manage.

You can apply if you’re experiencing financial hardship and are:
- A single parent or family in need
- Receiving benefits
- An older person needing extra support
- Aged 18 or over
- Under 18 in exceptional circumstances
