Lgk uses food and heritage to assist those in need, prioritising a people-centered approach in every project. Since 2014, we have celebrated the traditions that define our community through our core pillars , ensuring social impact is at the heart of everything we do.
The Challenge of Social Isolation
Loneliness has become a silent epidemic, profoundly affecting our elderly and those without stable support networks. Beyond the emotional toll, chronic isolation weakens mental health and community bonds. There is an urgent need for a safe, consistent space where individuals can reconnect and find meaningful social interaction.

We are establishing a consistent weekly sanctuary where local residents can find belonging. This regular frequency ensures that support isn’t a one-off event, but a reliable pillar of the local community’s social fabric.
