Ways in which we fundraise:
Taverna events
Throughout the year, we bring our community together through a variety of events to raise vital funds for the causes we support as a charity. Our Taverna events are a fantastic example of this, combining great food, entertainment and community spirit to raise money and awareness for causes close to our hearts. Alongside the Taverna, we host a range of other fundraising events throughout the year, from summer BBQs and family events to Christmas party nights and seasonal celebrations. Every ticket purchased, donation made and event supported helps us continue making a meaningful difference to individuals, families and organisations within our community.
Sponsored runs
Sponsored runs and sporting challenges are another fantastic way we raise vital funds for our charity, led by our very own Mr & Mrs Panayiotou – the heart of LGK.
From completing the Athens 10K to taking on the incredible 21K Limassol Half Marathon, their dedication and determination help raise both funds and awareness for the causes closest to our hearts. Every mile they run and every donation received helps fund our outreach programmes and enables us to continue supporting individuals and families in need. Their commitment is a wonderful example of the passion behind LGK and how, together with the generosity of our community, we can continue making a real difference.

Every donation helps turn our fundraising ambitions into real support for people who need it most. Your generosity enables us to respond to hardship, support food banks, fund our Rainy Day Fund and Christmas Big Feed, assist those facing difficult circumstances, and contribute to projects further afield.
