Pear Crumble

Ingredients

4 Fresh or Tinned Pears
200g Flour
100g Margarine or Butter
75g Caster Sugar
20g Caster Sugar (for the fruit)

Method

Pre heat oven to 180C.

Place flour and butter in a bowl and crumble together using fingertips.

Stir in the sugar.

To make the filling: peel, cut and core the pears and slice and put into a pan.

Put onto a low heat, stirring in the sugar and cook until soft.

Pour the filling into an ovenproof dish and sprinkle with the crumble.

Bake in the oven until golden brown. Please note any fruit can be used. Plums are a great addition to this recipe.
